PARENTS AND FRIENDS

Liwara Primary School Parents & Friends Association is the key parent body in building our community, promoting a spirit of friendship, and fostering cooperation between all the families of the school. Through regular social and fundraising school functions, the P&F brings parents together to contribute to their children's school and to get to know each other.

Liwara’s P&F Association plan a variety of events throughout the year, such as a New Parents Night, Mothers Night, Fathers Night, school Disco and the famous Liwara Fair.

Each term sees something fun and enjoyable planned for families in the school, and each year, the P&F provides a generous financial contribution of the funds raised to the school for the upgrade of facilities and extra resources for the students.

Liwara has a long-standing tradition of parent participation, and it is this strong family involvement over the years that make the events run by the Liwara P&F successful every time.

Parents of students from all year groups are automatically members of the P&F and are welcome to attend any of the meetings throughout the year. This invitation is extended to any family member, including grandparents. General meetings are held twice a term, on a Tuesday evening in Weeks 2 and 7 at 7pm.

We hope that every family coming through our school will enjoy a time attending P&F meetings, holding leadership positions, and volunteering their time across the various events through the year.
