Prayer for the End of A School Year

O God of all beginnings and endings,
We praise and thank you for the gift of this school year.
It has been a time filled with grace and blessings,
With challenges and opportunities, joys and sorrows.

The days have passed quickly, O Lord.
The weeks, the months, the seasons, the holidays and holy days,
The exams, vacations, breaks, and assemblies,
All have come forth from your hand.

While we trust that your purposes have always been at work each day,
Sometimes it has seemed difficult to understand and appreciate
Just what you have been up to in our school.

Give us the rest and refreshment we need this summer.
Let our efforts of this past year bear fruit.
Bring all of our plans to a joyful conclusion,
And bless us, according to your will,

With the fulfillment of our summer hopes and dreams.
Watch over us in the weeks of rest ahead,
And guide each day as you have done this past year.
Help us return to school with a new spirit and a new energy.

May we continue to grow
In age, wisdom, knowledge and grace
All the days of our lives.

Amen.

FROM THE PRINCIPAL

 Dear Parents and Caregivers

As we approach the end of another incredible year, I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt thanks to our students, families, and staff for your support and contributions throughout 2024. Together, we have achieved so much and created lasting memories that will be cherished for years to come.

A special congratulations to our Year 6 graduates as they complete their primary school journey.  We are incredibly proud of their achievements and wish them all the best as they transition to high school.  Their leadership, kindness, and commitment have been an inspiration to our school community.  This year we also acknowledge and celebrate the recipients of our Christian Leadership Awards.  These students have exemplified the values of compassion, generosity, and service, and they truly embody the spirit of our school.  Congratulations Aiden Schafer & Ethan Lee on this well-deserved recognition!

Our achievements this year, both big and small, are a reflection of the collective efforts and passion we all share for the success and well-being of our children.  From the exciting activities and milestones achieved in the classrooms to the support and encouragement shown in various school events, your involvement has made a significant difference.

I would like to bid a fond farewell to the Year 6 families who are leaving us this year.  Your unwavering support, guidance and active participation have been instrumental in shaping not only your child’s journey but also the collective experiences of our school community.  Your dedication to their education and well-being has been invaluable, and we are grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us.

As we journey towards the 2025 school year, let us continue to foster a supportive and enriching environment for our students.  Let’s encourage curiosity, celebrate diversity, and promote kindness, laying the foundation for their future successes.

I am pleased to announce the class teachers for 2025 below.  It is however important to keep in mind that this list can be subject to change before the beginning of the school year, in the event of any unexpected staff movements:

2025 CLASS TEACHER & EAS

I am confident that the year ahead will be filled with exciting learning opportunities and strong partnerships between teachers and families.

As we break for the summer holidays, I wish all our families a safe, relaxing, and holy Christmas season.  May your time be filled with joy, peace, and the company of loved ones.

Thank you for another incredible year, and I look forward to seeing you all again in 2025.
